Middlegame positions as well as some endgames studies were on the menu and the local players were very satisfied to have high level tution by a grandmaster  at the request of the Mauritius Chess Federation and sponsored by FIDE. Everyday the players will have training in the three phases of the game Opening, middlegame and endgame ,till this sunday 29th June day of departure of Mr Grivas.

The greek grandmaster is well known to the local players for having given a Trainer's seminar in Mauritius in  2012 but this time the players are subjected to more specific training and we hope to see the results in August at the Tromso Olympiad in Norway.
